The other day I went on a Broker’s Tour of a couple of newly listed homes for sale in both North Admiral and Alki neighborhoods in West Seattle.  It was a bit foggy and the sun did finally make it out, making it a nice day after all for driving around.

The first home I went to was in North Admiral, near Metropolitan Market.  The home had a terrific view of the Space Needle, framed by trees, from a wonderful mid-century living room.  Even though the day was still a bit foggy, I could still see the Space Needle, I bet it’s a great view when the fireworks go off on New Year’s Day!  Being so close to Metropolitan Market means that you can just walk a few blocks to get coffee, some groceries, even go to the movies at the Admiral Theater!

The second home was on the south side of Alki Point, about a block from the Sound.  The home had Southern, Sound Views from the bedrooms on the upper floors and a bit from the living room as the home was sited above the street – great for privacy!  My favorite part was a light-filled and very spacious, modern kitchen which was open to a family room and charming garden.  The location was very good, with an easy and direct route from the West Seattle Bridge, and best of all, only a few homes away from Beach Drive and the Sound!
